You Were There

You Were There is a journey into memory; those moments we never let go and those we wish we could. This contemporary re-imagining of Noel Coward’s 1935 one-act Shadowplay: A Musical Fantasia uses a variety of mediums to explore relationships, love, and loss. It is a prodding and humourous look at Coward’s romantic idealism, where fantasy meets reality and things aren’t always as they seem.

You Were There is showing February 6-14 at the MAP Studio (5th Floor, 100 Arthur Street) as part of CowardFest, the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre’s Master Playwright Festival.
